Châteaux and tasty local products in enchanting landscapes of green hills.

  • Visiting Turin that offers a wide selection of museums, three of which are spectacular : the Museum of cinema, that of the automobile and the Egyptian museum, its squares, its historical cafés and the Venaria Reale.
  • Visiting renowned wines estates and tasting of great Piedmont wines : Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera, Dolcetto, Arneis.
  • Visiting a traditional farm producing the hazelnut Piemonte IGP and tasting hazelnut cakes.
  • White truffle hunting with the truffle-grower and his dog.
  • Cooking class with Piedmont recipes.

Day 1 : Turin

  • Welcome to Milano Malpensa Airport and private transfer to your 4 or 5 star hotel in downtown Turin.
  • Visiting Turin : Piazza San Carlo and its twin churches, the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist where you can see the shroud, Piazza Castello, the Madama Palace, the Museum of cinema, the Carignano Palace and Piazza Vittorio Veneto.
  • Lunch in a restaurant in the centre.
  • Visiting the Venaria Reale, one of the residences of the Savoy Royal family, classified as World Heritage.
  • Time at disposal.
  • Free dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Alba, Cherasco and Barolo

  • Visiting Alba, Capital of the Langhe and Roero region: the St. Lawrence cathedral, the alleys of the old town, the churches of St. Madeleine and St. John the Baptist.
  • Visiting and tasting Barolo in a wine estate in La Morra.
  • Visiting the Grinzane Cavour castle, which belonged to Count Camillo Cavour, former prime minister and one of the architects of the unification of Italy.
  • Lunch at the Castle Restaurant.
  • Visiting the village of Cherasco: the Belvedere arch, The sanctuary of the Madonna, the Palazzo Comunale
    And meet a master Chocolatier with tasting of his creations.
  • In the village of Barolo, visiting Castello Falletti, a communal castle with its wine museum and several wine tastings.
  • Back to Turin.
  • Free dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Barbaresco, Neive and Asti

  • Visiting a wine estate in Barbaresco and tasting Barbaresco  .
  • Cooking class with Piedmont recipes in a typical inn.
  • Inn lunch with the dishes prepared by yourself.
  • Visiting the medieval village of Neive.
  • White truffle hunting with a truffle-grower and his dog.
  • Visiting a wine estate near Asti and tasting Barbera d’Asti.
  • Back to Turin.
