  • Visiting Bordeaux and the “Cité du Vin” as a journey around a world of wine and culture.
  • Visiting the medieval village of Saint Emilion and tasting the traditional macaroon.
  • Oyster tasting in a typical Fisherman’s hut around the Bassin d’Arcachon.
  • Visiting a medieval private château.

Day 1 : The «Grands Crus du Médoc» Route

  • Visiting and tasting in a château Grand Cru classé in Saint Julien.
  • Visiting and tasting in a château Grand Cru classé in Pauillac.
  • For the lunch, savour the local speciality, the Lamb of Pauillac.
  • Visiting and tasting in a château Grand Cru classé in Margaux.
  • Back to Bordeaux.
  • Free dinner.
  • Night in a 4 or 5 star hotel in Bordeaux Centre.

Day 2 : Saint Emilion : a medieval village and its Grands Crus

  • Visiting and tasting in a château Premier Grand Cru classé B.
  • Visiting the medieval village of Saint Emilion and tasting the macaroons elaborated according to the traditional recipe.
  • Visiting and tasting in a château in AOC Pomerol.
  • Back to Bordeaux.
  • Free dinner and overnight.

Day 3 : Bordeaux and Arcachon

  • Visiting Bordeaux, the “Cité du Vin” and tasting the local speciality, the cannelet.
  • Oyster tasting in a typical Fisherman’s hut around the Bassin d’Arcachon.
  • Lunch in a seafood restaurant overlooking the Bassin.
  • Back to Bordeaux.
  • Time at disposal.
  • Dinner in a Michelin starred restaurant near Bordeaux.

Day 4 : The Graves area and Sauternes

  • Along the steps of Montesquieu, visiting the historic château de La Brède.
  • Visiting and tasting in a château Grand Cru classé of the Graves area : Smith Haut Lafitte, Carbonnieux or Haut Bailly.
  • Lunch in a gourmet restaurant near Martillac.
  • Visiting a medieval private château where scenes of famous films were shot.
  • Visiting and tasting in a chateau Grand Cru classé de Sauternes.
  • Back to Bordeaux.
